His rookie season saw him not only leading all NFL rookie defensive players with a staggering 9. sacks but also bagging the honorable NFL Defensive Rookie of the Month for December.

In recognition of his exceptional command on the field, Turner was named in the NFL’s All-Rookie Team by the highly esteemed Pro Football Writers of America.

Turner shared his journey, unfolding the remarkable story of how he transformed into a stalwart for the Rams’ defensive unit.

Speaking about his intentions for the new season, Turner stated, “There is a ton of personal improvement I am looking to make in my own game this year. I want to deepen my knowledge of the game and all aspects of what’s happening with our defensive unit.”

Drafted into the Rams in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft, Turner’s standout performance didn’t come by chance.

Instead, it’s the consequence of his unwavering work ethic and passion for the game. The success he encountered in his rookie season reinforced his vision for improvement.

“My mindset was to come in, work as hard as I could, and learn as much as I could so that my teammates and my coaches could establish trust in me,” Turner explained.

With his eyes set on the upcoming season, Kobie clarified his goals for the offseason is to enhance his physical attributes and continue contributing to his team’s overall success.

He said, “And now that I have a year under my belt, my goal is to get bigger, faster, and stronger over the offseason so I can continue to help my team.”
