“I’m going to put it on my shoulder” Former Michigan Coach Jim Harbaugh Honors Promise, Vows to get a Tattoo After Wolverines’ Title Triumph

The former head coach of the Michigan Wolverines, Jim Harbaugh, had recently attended the ring ceremony in Ann Arbor and before he bid adieu to the successful program at Michigan, he fulfilled what he had earlier promised.

According to Bleacher Report he had earlier mentioned, “I have no ink on my body. No tattoos anywhere, but I did say that to our players. I said if we go 15-0, I’m getting a tattoo. It’s 15-0. I’m going to put it on my shoulder, I don’t know if it’s my left or right yet. I’m a right-handed quarterback. I’ll probably get it on my right. And then an M too, an M that’s maize and blue M. Also that signifies a thousand in Roman numerals.”

The head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers returned for the ring ceremony and the Wolverines team became the national champions after winning one in 1997, marking a special time for the football program. The coaches and the players received four rings, including the Big Ten Title win, Rose Bowl Title win, College Football Playoff, and the National Championship.

Sherrone Moore, the former offensive coordinator, will be spearheading the Michigan Wolverines as the new head coach and he had served as the interim head coach during the last campaign as well. Harbaugh faced suspension for six games by the Big Ten and NCAA investigations over the sign-stealing scandal and impermissible recruiting during the pandemic.
