The New York Knicks emerged victorious during the Playoffs Round one game against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Knicks defeated the 76ers with a concluding score of 111-104.
From the side of the Knicks, Jalen Brunson scored 22 points, 7 rebounds, and 7 assists, Josh Hart ended his game with the same number of points including 13 rebounds and two assists. Miles McBride posted 21 points to the scoreboard along with 3 rebounds and 4 assists. Whereas, Bojan Bogdanovic added 13 points, 7 rebounds, and one assist.
However, during the second quarter, the 76ers received a scare as the seven-time All-Star, Cameroonian sensation, Joel Embiid was making a spectacular off the board slam however after the making the point fell to the ground grasping the same knee which was earlier injured.
He remained on the floor and while trainers assessed his knee, Embiid laid flat on the court and was staring up with wide eyes. However, after assessing he was helped off the court as he was not able to walk on his own.

By good fortune, the MVP of 2023, Embiid returned to the game at the beginning of the third quarter and ended his night with registering 29 points, 8 rebounds, and 6 assists. Tyrese Maxey led the scoreboard with team-high 33 points, 2 rebounds, and 4 assists.
Kyle Lowry also added 18 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists, and Kelly Oubre Jr. ended his game with 10 points, three rebounds, and one assist. Embiid underwent surgery for the same knee and had missed games during the regular season. He returned to court on April 2.
