The Miami Heat defeated the Chicago Bulls in the Play-in Tournament game with a concluding score of 112-91. The first quarter was dominated by the Heat squad and second quarter was dominated by the Bulls, however, Heat maintained its superiority in the third quarter and was able to defeat the Chicago squad.
However, Miami’s Kaseya Center saw many empty seats as fewer fans came to view the game against the Bulls. The point was captured by former NBA champion turned analyst Kendrick Perkins during ESPN’s “NBA Countdown”. As per Awful Announcing, Perkins shared, “I’m just a little disappointed in the fanbase of the Miami Heat. There’s too many open seats.”

One of the other co-hosts, Michael Wilbon, also focused on the supporters in general and shared his remarks on the fan base. Wilbon mentioned, “That’s not a great fan base at all. It hasn’t been. They’re frontrunners. They’re frontrunners.”

During the game, chants mentioning, “We Want Boston” could also be heard. The Heat had meetings with Celtics in the last two Eastern Conference Finals and the fans are highly-anticipating for their clash once again as well.
