New England Patriots cornerback Marcus Jones has named Aaron Rodgers and Josh Allen as his toughest opponents.
Speaking to Overtime Heroic’s senior editor Reggie Roberts in an exclusive interview Jones gave the lowdown on the two smartest QB’s in Jets star Rodgers and Bills number one line caller Allen.
“Aaron Rodgers (when he was with Green Bay & now the New York Jets) is one of the top guys that’s been in the game a long time…much respect to him.
Jones is quite an eclectic and gifted all-rounder and is hitting the right notes in a completely different field. He is a musician and, on his way, to becoming an international pop star.
His track, “Make it Right,” is trending and is now ninth on Music Week’s Commercial pop chart in the United Kingdom.
He is well placed to judge the tempo of opposing quarterbacks and rates Allen highly.
“I would say (Buffalo Bills quarterback) Josh Allen. He always knows what to do in certain situations. If things are not there (play breaks down), he definitely knows how to use his feet to make plays extend and he is not scared to throw the ball up to some of his big-time receivers.”
Jones will want to dance to the beat of a rejuvenated Patriots team, and under the skin of divisional rival quarterbacks, and make them alter their rhythm.
