Rapoport shared, “Former #Jets starting QB and No. 2 pick Zach Wilson is on the move. Sources say he’s being traded to the #Broncos, hoping for a fresh start.

Pelissero also mentioned in one of his posts, “A new QB in Denver: The #Jets are trading former No. 2 overall pick Zach Wilson to the #Broncos, per sources.
Denver is expect to send a 2024 sixth-round pick to New York for Wilson and a 2024 seventh-rounder, with the teams dividing his guaranteed camp roster bonus.”
The New York Jets will get in turn a 2024 sixth-round pick and a 2024 seventh-rounder. The teams will divide the $5.5 million money which is to be given. The talented quarterback was selected in the 2021 NFL Draft in the first round as the second pick by the New York Jets.
In the last campaign, Wilson started eleven games and registered 2,271 yards, including eight touchdowns and seven interceptions. During the concluding matches of the last season, Wilson was also benched.
The Super Bowl champion, four-time NFL MVP, and ten-time Pro Bowl quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, had earlier shared regarding Wilson via Harrison Glaser of the Jets, “I love Zach & I want what’s best for Zach, & if he wants to be here & that’s what’s best for him, then obviously I would love to have that relationship for another year, but I want what’s best for him & where he wants to be, & sometimes a change of scenery, as I know, can be a breathe of fresh air, & it’s good to be able to have a new start sometimes, but I love Zach & we’ll still be connected. We’ll see what happens.”
Wilson will now begin his new journey with the Denver Broncos squad, which has had quarterback Jarrett Stidham since 2023.
