With the NFL Draft Day approaching we look at some of the teams with the most to gain from the three-day event in Detroit.
The Bears have an upcoming draft schedule with the fewest picks of any team but with two of the first nine, including the coveted number one pick.
Conversely the Cardinals, Packers and Rams each have 11 picks over the three days.
Chicago has the most to gain and will want to do something g similar to what the Texans managed with CJ Stroud.
They are expected to go for quarterback Caleb Williams.
They have a need for a quality wide receiver, offensive rusher and an edge rusher and that could all fall nicely into place.
The Commanders have the second overall pick and six in total inside the first 100. Another quarterback pick is likely. Then with their next four to five they can look to younger players to build a team for the near future.
The Patriots are another team searching for a quarterback and Jerod Mayo has the perfect opportunity with the third overall pick.
The Bengals will have their eye on an offensive lineman to protect Joe Burrow and a receiver to ultimately succeed and replace Tee Higgins.
Thursday will answer many questions and it is the teams who lost the most with the most to gain, if they play their cards right.
