Darvin Ham admits to being clueless about solutions to defend Jokic

The Los Angeles Lakers are facing a tough challenge from the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets in the first round of the NBA Playoffs.

The Nuggets are currently leading the series 1-0 after their victory in the Mile-High city.

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham spoke about the difficulty of defending Nikola Jokic, calling him a “generational-type player” and the best offensive weapon in the league.

Jokic’s ability to read the game quickly and stay a step ahead of his opponents makes him a mismatch nightmare.

The Lakers need to develop a game plan to contain Jokic if they want to have a chance in the series.

In the previous game, the Lakers tried different defensive strategies against Jokic, including double teams and using Rui Hachimura to defend him, but they were not entirely successful as Jokic had a strong performance.

Despite the Lakers’ efforts, there may not be a definitive solution to stopping Jokic, who is considered one of the best big men in the history of the game.

The Lakers will continue to search for ways to slow him down but may have to accept that Jokic is currently unstoppable.
