The Bryce Young story has only just begun to be written and the former Clemson quarterback is confident he can put last season’s misery behind him.
The Panthers traded up for him, taking him as the number one overall draft pick in 2023 but the team went 2-15, fired their head coach Frank Reich and the QB struggling to get to grips with the Helter skelter of the NFL.
“I just want to be the best version I can,” Young told Darin Gantt of the team’s website.
“Obviously, we have a lot of change in the system. New coaching staff, a couple of new pieces. So, it’s going to be a great opportunity for us to grow and build together. But I think as a team, individually, all combined, I think we learned a lot and grew a lot. Obviously, it was not the year we wanted to have last year. But, you know, you’re able to learn from those experiences.”
He is excited to work under new HC Dave Canales and to be frank, their 2024 season can’t possibly be worse than last year. This is his opportunity to write his own script.
