As the NFL trade rumors simmer in the sports air, Kendrick Bourne, American football wide receiver, has rattled the cages by openly expressing his wish for his former San Francisco 49ers teammate, Brandon Aiyuk, to join the New England Patriots.

Bourne’s bold endorsement came amidst growing speculations about Aiyuk’s future with the 49ers.

According to the 49ers General Manager, John Lynch, the franchise desires to keep Aiyuk in its roster.

However, the news on Monday has thrown some shade onto this intention, leaving fans and Patriots in anticipation of a potential trade.

Amidst this uncertainty involving Aiyuk’s professional future, Bourne made it clear that he envision Aiyuk as a perfect fit for the Patriots, stating, “I want Aiyuk. He’s my guy, and I think he’ll fit in” through Khari Thompson, a Boston.com correspondent.

“Just being a one-on-one receiver at X. He can take a whole half of the field and dominate and create a lot of attention for himself. That’s big in our offense, the X receiver? . . . I know him pretty well. We had a good relationship when he first came in as a rookie. I was in year three, I believe. I kind of was just teaching him the ins and outs in the beginning when we worked out together in the offseason. We got along pretty well. I’ve posted a couple things, we’ve got handshakes and stuff. So, we’ve always been pretty connected and have gelled naturally.”

The Patriots have been popularly expected to secure the services of their future quarterback through the first-round pick of the upcoming Thursday night draft.

Meanwhile, speculations continue to freeload on Aiyuk’s potential landing site. Aiyuk’s professional future seems like a tough nut to crack.

However, his entry into any NFL team would undeniably bolster their offense while also boosting the morale of the current quarterback.
