Lead announcer for the NBA and now the New York Knicks game-caller Mike Breen has seen some incredible ball in his life, but he says nothing compares to a night at Madison Square Garden.
The NBA posted on their Instagram account an image of the Knicks celebrating with the following Breen words in the caption.
“There is no building in basketball that sounds like Madison Square Garden.”
The Knicks came back from the dead to defeat the 76ers 104-101 to go 2 up the the series.
When Donte DiVincenzo scored the three-pointer that brought the Knicks back to life, Breen went into overdrive.
The Emmy winning broadcaster has patented the term “BANG,” and pulls it 9ut whenever a big shot is made.
In a break from tradition Breen shouted, “BANG, BANG.”
The double was worth it as Madison Square Garden erupted.
