Wilson was poor and lost the starting position towards the back end of the season and it seems not even a simple goodbye was taken in the right spirit.
A day after the trade, the Jets shared a farewell message to Wilson on Twitter/X with the caption, “Thank you, Zach Wilson.”
This was accompanied by a photo, sharing the same message.
The comments and memes were anything but sweet and Wilson must be happy to be out of the Big Apple.
