The new ESPN BET branded sportsbook and restaurant has been reportedly unveiled by Hollywood Casino at Greektown, which is situated on the upper floor of the Downtown Detroit Casino. This becomes the first retail outlet under ESPN BET brand to be opened across PENN Entertainment’s property.
According to ESPN Press Releases John R. Manzo, the ESPN BET sportsbook and restaurant proffers guests more than four thousand square feet of wagering and dining space with large video wall for top-notch sports watching services, and upscale bar and food area.

John Drake, who is the general manager of the Hollywood Casino at Greektown, shared via the official report, “This is an exciting week to debut PENN’s first physical ESPN BET sportsbook as the city of Detroit hosts the NFL Draft and its festivities. Bringing ESPN BET to Hollywood Greektown combines PENN’s premier sports media and sports betting offerings to create an amazing atmosphere for fans to watch and bet on sports. To celebrate the opening, we’re thrilled to host ESPN talent and programming at our property throughout the week.”
Mike Morrison, the vice president of ESPN BET and ESPN fantasy also expressed, “We’re thrilled to open the first ESPN BET retail location in Detroit and become part of a community of deeply passionate sports fans. We want fans to come embrace a first-class betting experience and we’re excited to showcase the ESPN BET brand in a contemporary space.”
The Hollywood Casino at Greektown will also be conducting various ESPN shows during the draft week, which will include the “First Draft” podcast. ESPN will also broadcast the morning show “Unsportsmanlike”.
Along with these, other shows, such as ESPN BET live, and ESPN2 daily sports betting show, will be live from ESPN BET sportsbook. Throughout the week, ESPN will also host live SportsCenter hits from the area as well.
