Averaging 13.5 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 81 games, he proved to be a valuable asset, especially when Karl-Anthony Towns was sidelined due to injury. During Towns’s absence, Reid stepped up, averaging 17.6 points, 7.0 rebounds, and 2.1 assists as a starter.
His standout moments include scoring a career-high 34 points against the Cavaliers and 25 points against the Lakers. Despite the pressure, Reid remained focused on playing his game, showing resilience from his journey from the bottom to the top.
