The projected Mock Draft shows that six quarterbacks will be going in the top 22 picks and Caleb Williams is leading the way.
Williams, out of the USC Trojans has been projected to be the number one pick for almost a year, and the Bears, after trading with the Panthers last season, should get their man at number one.
Another highly rated prospect is Jayden Daniels out of LSU, and he is expected to be snapped up at number two by the Washinton Commanders.
Another QB likely to go high is Drake Maye, with the North Carolina star set to go to the Patriots at three, who if rumors are correct, will be willing to trade his pick with the Giants, thus beating the Vikings out for his signature.
The Patriots, if they do swap with the Giants, will then have a dab at quarterback and will probably go for J.J. McCarthy out of Michigan.
Michael Phenix Jr out of Washington could link up with the Vikings at 11th on the draft spot, especially of Minnesota misses out on Maye at number three overall.
The final quarterback of the top 22 will probably be Oregon’s Bo Nix, who is expected to line up for the Eagles.
That said, a Mock Draft and the actual Draft are not always one and the same, as deadline pressure, shenanigans and last-minute trade deals more the norm than the exception.
But as it stands these six quarterbacks are set to become franchise stars.
