Top 20 Mock Draft picks – with Caleb Williams set for 1 and Tyler Guyton at number 20 – check to see who is in between

With the 2024 NFL draft flying towards us like a John Elway pass, we look at some final, final Mock Draft predictions, and while it is not a perfect science, it should be in the ballpark.

There are always the crazy scenarios that play out, for instance the Patriots trading their third-round pick with the Giants, handing Drake Maye to New York instead of the Vikings, who are desperate to secure his service.

There will be the usual Draft Day stuff playing out, so let’s take a quick deep dive into the top 32 mock picks.

Chicago Bears

This is as obvious as hot bread popping out of a toaster – with Caleb Williams touted as the number one overall pick. The quarterback is headed to Chicago.

Washington Commanders

There has been much debate about number two overall, and we think it will be a quarterback and we will plump for Jayden Daniels out of LSU.

New England Patriots

The Patriots go into this draft holding some cards, including a potential swap with the Giants, who go sixth. They do need a line caller so it will be a straight shoot-out between North Carolina’s Drake Maye and Michigan’s J.J. McCarthy. Maye will probably head off to New England.

Vikings

The Vikings will have to move fast to replace Kirk Cousins and will look for a franchise QB. If McCarthy is not already taken, they will take Maye. So, with Maye off to New England, it seems McCarthy will be heading to Minnesota. They may trade with the cardinals here, but for the sake of this Mock, they will not.

Chargers

The first non-quarterback expected to go is Marvin Harrison Jr, the outstanding wide receiver from Ohio State. They may opt for other positions and go for Joe Alt or Rashawn Slater if they think Justin Herbert will need another offensive weapon.

Giants

The NY Giants are set at sixth and they will be desperate to trade up for a quarterback. if they don’t then the next pick will be LSA Malik Nabers.

Titans

The Titans need a left tackle and Joe Alt will be their guy. The Notre dame star is a top ten pick for sure.

Falcons

At number eight the Atlanta Falcons will go with Byron Murphy II of Texas, with the defensive tackle high on the wanted list.

Colts

The colts are another team who could trade with the Bears, who have the number nine slot, and if they do, they will go with Brock Bowers of Georgia. GM Chris Ballard is a fan so let’s see how it works out.

New York Jets

The top ten should be rounded off with wide receiver Rome Odunze heading off to the Big Apple. GM Joe Douglas is keen, and Rome could be cover for Mike Williams in his rookie year.

Cardinals

Arizona is probably going to trade with the Broncos for number 11 and Quintyon Mitchell from Toledo could be their main man.

Eagles

Philadelphia should have their first dip at 12 after a potential trade with Denver, who have zero second rounders. Cornerback Terrion Arnold from Alabama could be an Eagle soon.

Raiders

Lucky number 13 should fall on Las Vegas and here Michael Penix Jr at quarterback should find a great home in Nevada.

Saints

The 14th overall pick should be Oregan’s Taliese Fuaga, an offensive tackle with plenty of potential.

Bears

After much wrangling the bears could land up at 15 and snaffle edge rusher Dallas turner from Alabama.

Seahawks

Seattle will be next in line and a move for Washinton’s OT Troy Fautanu is on the cards.

Jaguars

Jacksonville need a cornerback and Clemson CB Nate Wiggins is a definite top 20 pick, and the Jags will need to shore their defense.

Bengals

At 18, JC Latham, an OT from Alabama might be the ideal fir for the Bengals, some to protect Joe Burrow.

Rams

The Rams are set to go 19th and will surely go for UCLA edge Laiatu Latu. This will be the rams’ first, first rounder since Jared Goff.

Steelers

Pittsburgh could go for Graham Barton but we think Tyler Guyton could be headed to the steelers. The Oklahoma OT could even be lined up as a starter this season.
