The draft is taking place in Hart Plaza and the surrounding area, with various activities planned over the three-day period from April 25 to 27.
Fans from teams around the league have shown up in force, creating a sea of people at Campus Martius Park for the first round of the draft, which began at 8 p.m. ET.

The Draft Experience area and main stage were closed an hour before the first round due to full capacity.
Around 300,000 fans were estimated to be in attendance.

Great atmosphere, but the planning was TERRIBLE!!! Absolutely NO food inside the "draft" was in there all day and got shut out when I went outside the gate to get something to eat! Do better #NFL #Detroit
