In the latest edition of TNT’s “Inside the NBA,” the crew discussed LeBron James and the Lakers. Shaquille O’Neal, Charles Barkley, and Kenny Smith were part of the discussion.
They talked about LeBron James, his impact on the Lakers, and shared insights from their own playing days. Additionally, there was a segment where Chuck made a case for getting LeBron James to visit Studio J in Atlanta.
"Are we just gonna stay on TV until LeBron comes out the shower? Because you know, we got stuff do to.
It's 1:19. Are we just gonna sit here until LeBron…
Lebron. GET YOUR ASS OUT THE SHOWER." pic.twitter.com/rPnzbyMEzh

According to the video, the inside the NBA crew is reacting to the Denver Nuggets taking a commanding 3-0 series lead over the Los Angeles Lakers.
Shaq says that the Lakers never showed any desperation and seemed like they had already accepted defeat. Ernie Johnson is surprised by this because he thought the Lakers would win the series. Kenny Smith says that the Lakers lost their heart and killer instinct.
Darin Ham, the Lakers coach, said that they had good looks that they just didn’t go down and the Nuggets got loose shots that went in. He also said that the offensive rebounds by the Nuggets hurt the Lakers.
The crew discusses how the Lakers were down by double digits in each game but were able to come back somewhat. They credit the Nuggets championship mentality for not panicking in those situations.
Shaq says that the Lakers need to have a delusion of grandeur and believe that they can win the next game. Kenny Smith disagrees and says that the Lakers should just focus on winning one game at a time.
The crew also criticizes D’Angelo Russell for not scoring any points in 24 minutes. Shaq says that he can’t go scoreless in a must-win game.

He's the only one with the balls to say this stuff. Get Up and NBA Today begin every 🏀 segment with the Lakers and their fawning, whether they win or lose is nauseating.

Time waits for no one, not even LeBron! Hopefully, he's almost done with his shower. In the meantime, let's make the most of our time and get things done! 🚿⏰
