On Friday, the Dallas Mavericks hosted the LA Clippers at American Airlines Center in Game 3 in the 1st-round best-of-7 Western Conference series.
In Friday’s Game 3 of the Mavericks’ first-round Western Conference playoff series against the Los Angeles Clippers, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez visited Dallas.

Attending the Mavs game, Real Madrid president Perez was spotted by Luka Doncic courtside before the game started, and he immediately walked over to greet him.
Since 1977, Perez, at 77, has been the CEO of Spain’s largest construction company, Grupo ACS. Per the Forbes reports, Perez was first elected as the president of Real Madrid in 2000 and served until 2006, then was reelected in 2009, with an estimation of the fan-owned team’s worth at more than $6 billion.
Mavericks star Doncic have spent his rising years in Spain playing the game for Real Madrid, known globally for its championship soccer club.
It was in October, he returned to Spain with the Mavericks for a preseason game against Real Madrid, where in he received standing ovation and honored by his former teammates.
The notable “Luuukaaa” chants were heard in Madrid five years after the star guard left for the NBA, playing his past highlights on the big screen before the game.
Doncic also received an award from Perez as an honorary member of the club , and was given a replica of one of the trophies he won with Madrid. Earlier Friday, Perez was at the Cowboys’ headquarters at The Star in Frisco.
