Buffalo Bills inked a deal with wide receiver Quintez Cephus. Quintez Cephus, who faced a year-long suspension from NFL following a gambling-related incident, is now back on the turf.

His agency, SportsTrust Advisors, confirmed on April 18 that he was reinstated and ready to get back into the action.

In April 2023, Quintez was among five football stars like C.J. Moore and Lions receiver Jameson Williams who fell foul to the NFL’s iron-clad gambling policy, leading to his suspension.

Cephus got the short end of the stick in this black mark on his career with an indefinite suspension, which has finally been lifted. After receiving his NFL reinstatement, Cephus was in a position to sign a deal with any potential team.

After the abrupt halt on his career with Detroit Lions, a team with which he secured 37 receptions for 568 yards and four touchdowns, he finally found his saving grace.

Not securing a place on the Lions’ roster before his suspension seemed to be a blow for the talented sportsman.

Nonetheless, fate took a turn as he recently got drafted by the Buffalo Bills. A new battlefield for Cephus, he now has the chance to prove his mettle once more, hinting significant changes on the roster horizon for the Bills team.

With a roller-coaster career filled with highs and lows, injuries and team swaps, Cephus is no stranger to the unpredictability of professional football.

Facing a rocky start in 2020 as a fifth-round pick, he has worked his way up to becoming a prominent wide receiver, tallying impressive stats in his football journey.
