Bill Belichick and Nick Saban, who boast 13 championships between them, make great broadcast debuts for Pat McAfee and College game day respectively

The clash of the most successful duo of head coaches of their era was reignited on Draft night as Bill Belichick locked horns with Nick Saban.

The winners of the draft were not the Bears or Caleb Williams or even Michael Penix Jr but rather ESPN, ABC and the viewing public.

Belichick made his major broadcast debut on the Pat McAfee Show while Saban tied his mast to the main for College Game Day.

Between the pair of them they have won a collective 13 championships, and the rivalry, which laced the 2000’s and 2010’s will now live on, as they battle for ratings.

Belichick seems as dour as a lamppost eating a lemon but was surprisingly entertaining and he will impart bucketloads of wisdom on the upcoming season at the ManningCast and Pat McAfee shows.

Saban was more taciturn but as the college season develops and he spends time on campuses he will no doubt loosen up.
