The ACC Defensive Rookie of the Year of 2019, defensive end of the Buffalo Bills, Gregory Rousseau’s fifth year option, is being picked up by the squad, as reported by Peter Schrager of Fox Sports and NFL Network.

With the move, the Bills will hold onto the defensive end for one more year. He was picked up in 2021 NFL Draft in the first round as the 30th pick. The 2019’s First-team All-ACC will be making $13.4 million guaranteed in the last year of his rookie contract, as per Pro Football Talk.
In the last campaign, Rousseau played in sixteen games and recorded five sacks, eighteen quarterback hits, and 12 tackles for loss. During his career, he has recorded 129 tackles, 17 sacks, 3 forced fumbles, one fumbled recovery, one interception, and 12 passes defended.
