Earlier this week, Charles Barkley showed he is not a big fan of Galveston, Texas. He mocked the Pelicans, saying of sending them to Galveston instead of Cancun after they played poorly in their last game.
He called out the Pelicans for quitting in Game 3 against the Thunder, and said they didn’t deserve a flight to Cancun and should instead drive down to Galveston to see “that dirty ass water.”
On Saturday night’s episode of Inside the NBA featuring Barkley roast, the Hall of Famer had Shaq keeled over laughing as he blasted the Pelicans and the city of Galveston, Texas.
“Galveston. That dirty-(expletive) water. We’re not even going to send them to Cancun. We’re sending them to Galveston, where that dirty-(expletive) water be washing up on the shore and people think they’re at the beach.”

In the recent update, legendary NBA star turned Turner Sports analyst, Barkley, had chosen to apologize to the city of Galveston after trashing the Texas beach town earlier.
On Sunday night, Barkley apologized for the roast, and to Beyonce’s family, who is from the Galveston area.
Barkley said on Sunday night before the tipoff of this evening’s playoff games.
“That water is so dirty. I’d rather go to San Antonio with those big ole women.”
He also added,
“I don’t want that smoke. I don’t want the Beyhive and Jay after me.”
On the set, Shaq couldn’t hold it together after Barkley’s latest comments about Galveston and San Antonio. Who had earlier also said,
“I’m disappointed in New Orleans, Where are they going, Chuck?”
