Diggs is the brother of four-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Stefon Diggs and Dallas Cowboys two-time Pro Bowler Trevoon Diggs. His brother Stefon was recently moved to the Houston Texans in one of the high-profile trades of the offseason.
Darez Diggs himself was a former XFL player. He also featured for the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
Diggs is not completely in the clear just yet. Cristopher Griffith, the man who was attacked, has sued Darez Diggs claiming pain, suffering and emotional distress and also for $100,000 for the jewelry and other property that was stolen during the incident.
