A series of shrewd moves over the last 24 months has transformed the New York Knicks from perennial underachievers to one of the favorites in the Eastern Conference. The addition of players like Jalen Brunson, OG Anunoby and Josh Hart have elevated the Knicks to new heights. Now, there could a new superstar joining the star-studded lineup.
According to well-known television personality Stephen A. Smith, Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker has his eye on the Big Apple.
During a recent appearance on ESPN, Smith disclosed that the four-time All-Star in interested in joining the Knicks.
“Devin Booker wants to be in New York. He might deny it, I haven’t spoken to him. I’m just telling you the scuttlebutt in the NBA circles is that brother wanna be in New York,” said Smith on First Take.

Smith did admit that he not sure whether the move will ever happen but after a disastrous season in Phoenix, Booker may be open to a move.
This season, Booker averaged 27.1 points, 6.9 assists and 4.5 rebounds per game over a productive 68 game season. Over his career, he is averaging 24.3 points, 4 rebounds and 5 assists.
The Phoenix Suns have dealt away most of their draft picks and with Bradley Beal owed $160 million through 2026-2027, the franchise does not have a lot of options. Don’t be surprised if the organization look to move one of their superstars int he offseason.
