The fan"s "M-V-P" chants for Brunson, came after Brunson scored a Knicks franchise-record 47 points, all game, and delivered a brilliant performance throughout the win.
He told reporters,
"This Philadelphia fan base is very relentless, very passionate, I"m an Eagles fan I would know. But seeing the Knicks here and hearing the Knicks here was pretty cool. It"s awesome."
The Knicks had lost ts in Game 3 when Embiid’s physical dominance turned the game in the 76ers’ favor. However, they returned the favor to win Game 4 and take a 3-1 series lead back to Madison Square Garden for Game 5.
