Jacksonville Jaguars Lock In QB Trevor Lawrence, RB Travis Etienne Jr. With Fifth-Year Options

The Jacksonville Jaguars have reportedly announced that they will be exercising fifth year options of both Pro Bowl quarterback, Trevor Lawrence and two-time ACC Player of the Year running back, Travis Etienne Jr.

One of the top-notch quarterbacks, Lawrence, was picked up in the 2021 NFL Draft in the first round as the first pick and Etienne was selected in the first round as the 25th pick.

All the rookies that are picked up in the first round sign a four-year contract with the organization and a fifth-year as an additional option. In three seasons, Lawrence has thrown 58 touchdowns including 39 interceptions.

The CFP National Champion of 2018, Etienne recorded 2,133 yards, 16 touchdowns, and 487 carries. He missed his rookie season due to a foot injury sustained in preseason.
