Jason Kelce, the recently retired NFL superstar, now turns to a new path in the broadcasting booth. The seasoned footballer will be joining ESPN’s pre-game show, “Monday Night Countdown,” according to Variety, promising a rush of fresh energy and veteran insights.

Emerging victorious among multiple networks contending for Kelce’s spot, ESPN now amplifies its broadcasting team inclusivity.
NBC and CBS’s Sunday night programming were also reportedly interested, but ESPN eventually sealed the deal.
The “Monday Night Countdown” broadcasting team, which last season included prominent figures like host Scott Van Pelt and analysts Marcus Spears, Ryan Clark, and Robert Griffin III, will now welcome Kelce to its ranks.
With 13 distinguished years spent playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, Kelce entered retirement in March.
His robust portfolio includes six first-team All-Pro selections and a Super Bowl championship, solidifying Kelce as one of the era’s best offensive linemen.
Kelce’s allure isn’t just confined to the field. He and his wife, Kylie, were the stars of the Prime Video documentary series “Kelce,” documenting his daily life and last spell in the NFL.

The power-packed Kansas City Chiefs’ star is poised to anchor Amazon MGM’s 20-episode season of “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?,” which promises to be an interesting spin-off of “Are You Smarter Than a Fifth Grader?” before he returns to the NFL this fall.
