Charles Oakley lauds Jalen Brunson to be the greatest Knick since Walt Frazier after record breaking playoff game

The two-time NCAA champion and All-Star guard of the New York Knicks, Jalen Brunson had an impressive season and he is making his significant mark in the postseason as well. 

The Knicks defeated the Philadelphia 76ers in Game 4 of the Playoffs Round 1 Series with a final score of 92-97. In the game, Brunson scored game-high 47 points including 4 rebounds and 10 assists leading the Knicks to their victory. 

With this, Brunson also reached an incredible feat and set a new Knicks record for most points scored in a single playoff game. The former NBA’s icon and Knicks superstar, Charles Oakley has recently shared and mentioned that Brunson is an incredible talent coming from the Knicks since legendary Walt Frazier. 

Hall of Famer, former point guard of the Knicks, Frazier won two NBA championships in his prominent career and was a seven-time All-Star. He was selected in the 1967 NBA Draft in the first round as the 5th overall pick. 

His number 10 jersey has been retired by the Knicks organization and he was also named seven-times to the All-Defensive First Team. His college Southern Illinois Salukis also retired his 52 jersey number. He is considered one of the top-notch defenders of the Knicks. 

He played with New York from 1967 to 1977 and then joined the Cleveland Cavaliers and played with them from 1977 to 1979. He was also named to the NBA 50th Anniversary Team being named one of the greatest players of all-time.
