In an exclusive interview with Overtime Heroics Senior Editor Reggie Roberts, Carolina Panthers’ offensive lineman Austin Corbett offers insight into his culinary preferences, providing a glimpse into his favorite meal and dining experiences.
Corbett doesn’t hesitate to share his love for a perfectly cooked ribeye steak, preferring it medium-rare for that ideal balance of tenderness and flavor.
He says, “It’s hard to beat a ribeye. I like that…medium-rare. You have a hot outside, some pink in the middle. I’m going to go with some scalloped potatoes for the side there.”
He further elaborates on his preferred accompaniments, including scalloped potatoes and a Caesar salad to tantalize the palate. Corbett also highlights a unique local delicacy – corn crème brûlée – which he enjoys at some of Charlotte’s local steakhouses.
