Boston Celtics fans are having fun after securing a 3-1 series lead over the Miami Heat, maybe a little too much fun.
Led by a 38 points from Derrick White (a playoff career-high for the guard), the Celtics cruised to a 102-88 win over the Heat on Monday. Jayson Tatum chipped in with 20 points and Jaylen Brown had 17 points to ensure the Celtics can close out the series in Boston on Wednesday.

White had a big night but perhaps the highlight of the even was Tatum’s thunderous dunk over Caleb Martin in the fourth quarter. With the Celtics leading by 18 late, Tatum put an exclamation point on the game with an extravagant leap over the 6-5 forward to send Martin tumbling to the ground.

During Tatum’s postgame interview, the crew at NBC Sports Boston decided to have some fun at Martin’s expense. The caption below the Celtic forward’s name comically read “Father of Deuce and Caleb,” a clear reference to Tatum’s dunk on Caleb Martin.
“Deuce” Tatum is in fact the son of Jayson Tatum and is fast becoming a celebrity on social media.
Martin had a strong game finishing with 18 points, five rebounds and two assists. Unfortunately, he was also on the receiving end of one of Tatum’s famous posterizing dunks. Martin and the Heat will look to bounce back on Wednesday in a must-win game at the TD Garden.
