“I’m not gonna answer that” LeBron James Mum on Future with Lakers Following Playoff Exit

The future of four-time NBA champion and twenty-time NBA All-Star, LeBron James with the Lakers is not yet known, as the superstar has not revealed anything further after the Lakers got eliminated in the Playoff Round 1 Series by the Denver Nuggets, the reigning champions.

The multiple record-setter of the league, four-time NBA Finals MVP remained silent when he was asked about his future and whether he would play with the Lakers in the next season, which would be his 22nd. During the post interview he smiled and responded, "I’m not gonna answer that. Appreciate it."

Considering what his next steps would be, LeBron mentioned, as per Sportsnet, "Nah I just want to get home to the family. Start looking at the schedule I got one of my boys trying to decide if he"s gonna enter the draft or go back to school. I got another kid that"s playing AAU ball right now. My daughter is playing volleyball and my wife is doing so many great things. So it’s about family right now. Then in a couple months I have to get ready to go to Vegas for training camp for Team USA."

Jamal Murray, who scored 32 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 assists against the Lakers in Game 5, scored another game-winning shot, totaling two major points in the playoff series. He further shared, "We lost. I’m not a participation guy. You move on … It’s hard to say who we are or who we can be, because we have yet to be whole [due to injuries]."

According to the Athletic’s Shams Charania, Jovan Buha, and Sam Amick, the future of the head coach of the Lakers, Darvin Ham, is in question as well.
