During the Los Angeles Lakers’ victory over the Denver Nuggets in the NBA playoffs, a seemingly unrelated event stole the spotlight (at least online). Singer Olivia O’Brien, a fan in the audience, was caught on camera in a low-cut top while the Denver Nuggets’ coach, Michael Malone, was giving a frustrated pep talk to his players on the sidelines.

The broadcast cameras happened to capture O’Brien in the background at just the right moment. This brief shot quickly circulated on social media, turning O’Brien into an unintended internet sensation.

Instead of shying away from the sudden attention, O’Brien cleverly embraced it. She took to her Instagram and confirmed she was the woman in the viral clip.

“Hello to all of my new followers after my viral boob moment!” O’Brien wrote.

But hey, she wasn’t complaining! She used the opportunity to promote her latest song as reported by the New York Post.

Note: Olivia O’Brien’s latest song is called “blip” and was released on April 12. Based on Olivia O’Brien’s previous work and the sound of “blip,” it leans towards indie pop with a touch of vulnerability.

In another IG Story, she added:

“And since I am assuming most of you are men (not my typical audience) you may also know me from this song back in the day. Thanks for the boob appreciation now let’s get to streaming boys.”

Lakers vs Nuggets: Game 4 Overview

The Los Angeles Lakers and Denver Nuggets faced off in a nail-biter Game 4 of their first-round playoff series on April 27th, 2024. The Lakers, down 0-3 in the series, knew it was a win-or-go-home situation.

The Lakers came out strong, fueled by a desire to avoid elimination. LeBron James scored the game’s first points and led the charge offensively. Anthony Davis also put up points and grabbed rebounds. The Lakers’ defense stifled the Nuggets in the first half, holding Denver to just 3-of-14 shooting from three-point range. This strong start gave the Lakers a lead as high as 13 points by halftime.

Despite being down, the Nuggets never gave up. In the second half, Nikola Jokic, the reigning MVP, began to impose his will on the game. He scored efficiently and dished out assists, getting his teammates involved. Jamal Murray also found his rhythm, attacking the basket and knocking down key jump shots. Slowly but surely, Denver chipped away at the Lakers’ lead.

The fourth quarter turned into a tense back-and-forth affair. Both teams traded baskets and neither side could gain a significant advantage. Austin Reaves hit a clutch three for the Lakers, while Aaron Gordon provided energy and scoring for the Nuggets. With under two minutes remaining, the score was tied at 102-102.

The final two minutes were a heart-stopping display of clutch plays. LeBron James hit a tough fadeaway jumper to put the Lakers back up by one. On the other end, Nikola Jokic found Kentavious Caldwell-Pope for an open three, but he missed. The Lakers rebounded and LeBron James had a chance to extend the lead, but his shot rimmed out.

With just four seconds remaining, Jamal Murray received a screen from Jokic and rose for a jump shot over rookie Austin Reaves. The shot went in as the buzzer sounded, giving the Denver Nuggets a thrilling 108-106 win.
