However, there was silence regarding a third option: quarterback Mac Jones, whom they acquired from the Patriots earlier this year.
Jones, who is set to back up Lawrence, could have had his option exercised, ensuring him a hefty $25.664 million salary for 2025, matching Lawrence’s.
