The Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs is one of the highlights of the sports calendar with spectators from all over the globe traveling to the Midwest for the highly anticipated extravaganza.
The popular race has been a staple in American culture for 150 years and is the most watched race in the United States. The competition on the track comes first but there are many other aspects involved with pageantry of the event. With many of the nations celebrities in attendance and the media covering the event closely, spectators tend to pull out their best outfits for the prestigious event.
On Thursday, sportscaster and television personality Kay Adams made an appearance and showed off her new look.
“Day 1 of the Derby. Am I getting married today, I don’t know? My dress is by 16arlington, my shoes are Alexandre Birman,” said Adams.

Adams chose an all white look for day one of the derby which explains her “am I getting married today,” statement.
Adams has hosted Good Morning Football and has her own show called Up and Adams. She attended he University of Missouri where she studied communications and after years of grinding, has worked her way up as one of the premier sportscasters in the country.
