The offensive guard of the Baltimore Ravens, Andrew Vorhees, was picked up in the 2023 NFL Draft in the seventh round as the 229th pick. The talented prospect from USC suffered an ACL tear while participating in the 2023 Scouting Combine.
Ravens offensive guard spent his time in the rehabilitation process and now he is back at the team’s rookie minicamp. The head coach, John Harbaugh, has shared a positive brief regarding his condition.
He mentioned, as per the Baltimore Ravens, “He looked very well-trained. He’s been here basically working out for a whole year. He was already a strong guy. He’s moving his feet well, he’s been studying for a whole year. I thought he looked like how you’d expect him to look.”
“Andrew is a player who we’ve admired, and the opportunity to trade back in to get him was too appealing."

The executive vice president and general manager of the Ravens, Eric DeCosta, also shared last year regarding Andrew, “Andrew is a player who we’ve admired, and the opportunity to trade back in to get him was too appealing. We are getting a tough and physical competitor who is polished and experienced. We have every expectation that he will be playing winning football for us in 2024, and this is a move that really solidified our line for the coming years.”
Vorhees also did bench press while wearing a full leg brace and completed 38 reps, which was the highest at the combine last year.

What a move.
Not even being able to plant his feet in the ground, wearing a full leg brace and still doing more reps than anyone at the entire combine.
Would have been so easy to feel sorry for himself, pack it in and head home.
Instead he does this.

His incredible feat was noted by icon JJ Watt and he shared in his post, “What a move. Not even being able to plant his feet in the ground, wearing a full leg brace and still doing more reps than anyone at the entire combine. Would have been so easy to feel sorry for himself, pack it in and head home.
Instead he does this.”
The potential of Vorhess participating in the next NFL season is high, as the head coach has shared uplifting updates regarding his health.
