“I would like to retire in Miami” Dolphins Pro Bowl Wide Receiver Tyreek Hill Keen To Finish Career In Southern Florida

Many NFL fans were stunned to see the Kansas City City part ways with Super Bowl champion and Pro Bowl wide receiver in 2022. At the time, Hill was considered one of the most dangerous offensive threats in the game and it seemed absurd to move on from the star at his peak.

A trade to the Miami Dolphins, however, seems to have worked out for both Hill and the Chiefs. Kansas City was able to build a stellar defense while Hill continues to put up big numbers in Miami. Last season, Hill amassed an incredible 1799 receiving yards to lead the NFL and finished with 13 touchdowns. He was also in contention to be the league MVP until the final weeks of the season.

After a successful two-year spell in Miami, Hill seems to have found a home in Southern Florida.

“I love Miami. I love every bit of it. My wife loves it, my kids love it, my mom loves it. It’s just a beautiful city to live in, man. There’s so much stuff to do,” said Hill on a recent episode on the Around the Bar podcast.

The 30-year-old went as far as to say he hopes to end his career with the franchise.

“I would like to retire in Miami, but we all know how the NFL is, how jobs go…But Miami is a great city, man. I love the team I play on, love the guys in the locker room, love the head coach, love the GM,” added Hill.

Hill remains one of the highest paid receivers in the league after signing a colossal four-year, $120 million deal that will see him contracted to the Dolphins through the 2026 season. It will be interesting to see if the organization considers re-signing the speedster so that he can finish his career in Florida.
