“It’s all been the same” Dallas Cowboys’ DaRon Bland Sets Records, Looks Ahead to Bright Future

The Pro Bowl cornerback of the Dallas Cowboys, DaRon Bland, had a blast in the 2023 NFL season. During the campaign, he was able to set league records while cementing his impressive position in the Cowboys lineup.

Bland achieved incredible feats during the season; he set an NFL record for most interceptions returned for a touchdown in a season. He is also tied with Ken Houston for most defensive touchdowns in a season.

During the 2023 season, he was named the NFC Defensive Player of the Week and in November, he was designated as the NFC Defensive Player of the Month as well.

According to the Cowboys, Bland shares, considering his feats, "It"s definitely harder to keep a low profile after last season, but I"m enjoying it. It"s all been the same. Gotta keep it the same. I always have the same expectations. It [did] improve my confidence, going into more years in this league as well. I"m going into my third year so, yeah, I"m more confident now."

Bland also shed light on two-time Pro Bowl Trevon Diggs comeback, mentioning, "A lot of people aren"t expecting what Tre is gonna come back with. I know what Tre is gonna come back with, and it"s gonna be something dangerous. I can"t wait."

The Dallas Cowboys saw their defensive lineup affected when Diggs tore his ACL last year in September. Fortunately for the Bills, Diggs is now back and will be available at the start of the training camp.
