The destructive wrist injury happened during the pivotal Week 11 loss against the Baltimore Ravens. It was a devastating setback for the star, requiring immediate surgical attention.
Undergoing surgery on November 27th, the starter QB was sidelined for a substantial stretch of time in what resulted as an agonizing waiting game for fans and teammates alike.
The anticipated recovery period was originally said to be between 4-to-6 months.
Fast forward to now, just over five months since the dreaded surgery and a few weeks shy from reaching the six-month mark, there’s, finally, some cheer in the Bengals’ camp.
