The Green Bay Packers appear to be on the brink of an exhilarating NFL season, with newly appointed offensive coordinator Adam Stenavich keenly aligning their running back (RB) lineup.
The Packers have heavily invested in Josh Jacobs, a two-time All-Pro, signing him for an average of $12 million per season as the team’s RB1.
Stenavich is exuberant about Jacobs’ potential as an “every-down RB” and is equally optimistic about rookie MarShawn Lloyd.

“Josh is a phenomenal running back,” says Stenavich, Jacobs has demonstrated his exceptional skills as a receiver and a runner. Not only that, but he has also proven himself as a quality pass protector. Being an “every-down RB”, So he’s one of those guys that you can really have in the game all the time and not have to worry about anything with him. So that’s nice.”
The rookie MarShawn Lloyd is anticipated to bring an “explosive element” to the team. His impressive 4.38-second record at the Scouting Combine is highly valued by Stenavich.
Lloyd demonstrated his speed and vision during the OTAs with a set of impressive runs, and Stenavich believes that this speed & vision combo will surely provide a noticeable acceleration to the Packers’ backfield.
The Packers’ average last season stood at 112.1 yards per game and 4.32 yards per run. However, with Jacobs and Lloyd working closely alongside Dillon, things seem to be looking up for the Packers this upcoming season.
The addition of Jacobs as the lead RB and Lloyd as RB2 promises to offer a dynamic touch to the Packers’ offensive lineup in the coming season.
This impressive duo, coupled with the coaching skills of Adam Stenavich, could potentially seal the deal for the Packers in their quest for dominating the NFL this year.
