The Browns have exhibited their faith in Newsome by exercising an option on his contract for the 2025 season. A salary guarantee of a staggering $13.3 million.
Newsome, voiced his gratitude on Monday, expressing that he feels “super blessed” with the team’s decision. Committed to Cleveland’s cause
But amidst all the future predictions, Newsome’s concentration remains aimed at the immediate challenges.
He is keen on improving his performance and strengthening the Browns’ defense line in the upcoming season.
“Extension-wise, we haven’t really talked about that,” Newsome said, via Scott Petrak of BrownsZone.com. “Honestly, I’m just focused on trying to get us as high as we can this year and whatever happens after that happens. But like I said before, I would love to be a Cleveland Brown for life.”
