WATCH: Donte DiVincenzo draw offensive foul on Myles Turner to seal the Game 1 win

In Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals, The New York Knicks squared off the playoff rivalry with the Indiana Pacers by securing a 121-117 win.

On Monday, NBA Eastern Conference playoff series, Jalen Brunson produced a notable fourth-quarter performance. He finished with 43 points, six rebounds and six assists to give New York the early advantage in their best-of-seven conference semi-final.

Donte DiVincenzo contributed with 25 points while Josh Hart weighed in with a performance that recorded 24 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists, three steals and a block.

In the shot that gave New York a 118-115 lead in a game, DiVincenzo put the Knicks up by three points with 39 seconds to go with his fifth three-pointer of Game 1.

The knicks were able to draw an offensive foul on Myles Turner to seal the Game 1 win. After making a big shot on offense, DiVincenzo took a big shot on defense, drawing an offensive foul on Turner illegal screen.

The call was reminiscent of the NCAA Women’s Basketball Tournament semifinal, when UConn was whistled for an illegal screen as they tried to go ahead late.

The harsh offensive foul called against Turner on DiVincenzo with 13 seconds remaining proved decisive, ceding possession back to New York and allowing the hosts to close out the win.

For Indiana, six players scored in double-figures, led by Turner with 23, Haliburton, the All-Star, had six points on 2-for-6 shooting with eight assists, four steals, and two rebounds.

On Wednesday Game 2 between the Knicks and the Pacers will kick off in New York.
