Rappers Drake and Kendrick Lamar are currently engaged in a heated feud. Both of them are exchanging diss tracks back and forth. This has caught the attention of the WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels.

Well, the feud all stems from Kendrick Lamar’s recent diss track, “Not Like Us,” where he name-dropped Michaels’ signature finishing move, “Sweet Chin Music.”

Michaels, who is now the Senior Vice President of Talent Development Creative for WWE’s NXT brand, took to social media to extend an invitation to both rappers.

“A little Sweet Chin Music goes a long way,” Michaels wrote, referencing Lamar’s wordplay. He formally invited both Drake and Kendrick to appear on NXT, WWE’s developmental brand, “to settle this thing.”

Michaels even offered to mediate the conflict.

Drake and Kendrick Lamar’s beef is a nasty one. It is filled with accusations and insults traded over diss tracks. It all might have started with Kendrick’s verse on Big Sean’s “Control,” where he challenged other rappers, including Drake. Drake didn’t respond directly at the time.

In 2018the fire simmered until Pusha T’s scathing diss track “The Story of Adidon” exposed Drake’s secret son. Drake later confirmed it.

In April 2024, the beef reignited with Drake’s possible diss towards Kendrick on “Pushups,” calling him out for collaborations and questioning his talent.

In May 2024, things escalated quickly. Kendrick dropped “Not Like Us,” making serious allegations about Drake’s personal life, including inappropriate conduct with minors (which Drake strongly denied). Drake countered with “Family Matters,” accusing Kendrick of hypocrisy in his activism and even bringing up his fiancée’s race.
