The talented CB Christian Gonzalez of the Patriots has heralded one such exciting event by being the first player in the team’s history to don the number zero on his jersey.
After sporting No.6 last season and initially opting for No.50 during the offseason, Gonzalez set his eyes on the iconic No.0 for 2024.
He leads the way in breaking traditional jersey norms while expressing his enthusiasm, “Excited to wear that zero,” “It’ll be real cool” he said.

Despite facing a shoulder injury that delayed his growth and participation, Gonzalez’s confidence hasn’t witnessed a dip. He remains undeterred:
“Still, extremely confident in what I can do,” he said.
Starting from 2023, Gonzalez’s performance earned him recognition as an outstanding cornerback. His possible premature end to an extraordinary rookie year due to shoulder injury can’t undermine his early success.
He recorded an overall PFF grade of 80.8 in the early games, displaying an impressive all-round performance.
Despite a torn labrum in week 4, his optimistic view about the past injury reflects his dedication towards the game, as he avers, “That’s in the past…Ready for right now, and just happy to be back in the building, be around the guys and just have fun.”
