In Pics: Houston Texans Quarterback CJ Stroud Having A Blast During Offseason Trip To Tokyo

It have been a eventful 12 months for Houston Texas quarterback CJ Stroud. The former Ohio State Buckeye was picked up by the Houston Texans with the second overall pick in the 2023 NFL Draft and has flourished over the last year. He exceed all expectations last season leading his team to a 10-7 record to reach the playoffs. As a reward for his hard work, Stroud was named NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year.

Just one year after being drafted to the pros, he now finds himself in Japan. Plenty of American baseball stars go to Japan to improve their careers, but it is rare to see NFL players make the tiring trip to the Far East. The Texans quarterback is part of the Gridiron Imports’ 2024 Asia Tour and is taking full advantage of his opportunity to travel the world.

From what we can see in the photos, Stroud is having the time of his life.

The 22-year-old quarterback has been keeping busy with several fun activities on the agenda. He was seen alongside Dallas Cowboys linebacker Micah Parsons taking Sumo lessons.

The two NFL athletes also had a chance to attend a Nippon Professional Baseball game where they given the honor of throwing out the first pitch. While the quality of the pitches were not great, it was a special memory that both players will surely cherish for years to come.
