Saquon Barkley was recently signed by the Philadelphia Eagles for the upcoming 2024 NFL season. Analysts believe the odds are evenly split on whether he will exceed 1,000 rushing yards for his new team.
FanDuel has already ignited fan speculation by setting Barkley’s over/under for rushing yards at 100.5 in the forthcoming season. The odds for both outcomes are priced exactly the same at -112.
Over the span of his six-year stint with the New York Giants, Barkley topped the 1,000 rushing yards mark in half of those seasons.

In his most recent season, Barkley fell just 38 yards short, amassing a total of 962 rushing yards.
Looking at a broader perspective, his average output stands around 983 rushing yards per season, which aligns closely with the projected 1,000-yard mark for 2024.
Last year, the Eagles’ leading rusher, D’Andre Swift, accumulated 1,049 rushing yards. However, Swift has since moved on to the Chicago Bears.
The Eagles management is optimistic that signing Barkley is an upgrade on Swift, aiming for their new asset to exceed last year’s top mark.
