The San Jose Sharks have hit the jackpot by winning the top pick in this year’s NHL Draft Lottery, securing the rights to select Macklin Celebrini. With the best odds heading into the lottery, the Sharks maintained their position and will have the first overall selection for the very first time in franchise history.
Interestingly, the draft order remained unchanged, with the Anaheim Ducks following the Sharks at second and third, respectively. The Columbus Blue Jackets and Montreal Canadiens complete the top five picks.
