Evan Turner criticizes Paul George’s underperformance, warns against forming a “soft” team with Joel Embiid

There is speculation surrounding the future of NBA superstar Paul George, who will become an unrestricted free agent this summer. The Los Angeles Clippers" crashed out in Round 1, even after acquiring James Harden from the Philadelphia 76ers and this George might be the final straw that forces PG13 out of LA.

One possibility is joining Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey in Philadelphia to form a new Big 3 in the Eastern Conference. However, PG"s former teammate Evan Turner doubts the success of this move, citing George"s track record of underperforming in the NBA playoffs, much like Embiid.

As of now, George"s intentions are uncertain, but the Clippers are interested in re-signing him alongside Harden, Kawhi Leonard, and Russell Westbrook. Another option for George could be the Orlando Magic, who have cap space and are in need of a dynamic scorer.

Turner"s skepticism extends to George reuniting with his former team, the Indiana Pacers, or joining the 76ers. Despite George"s strong postseason moments, he has also had low points, as seen in his recent playoff run when he struggled to lead the Clippers without Leonard and had his worst showing in a decade. The Clippers were eliminated by the Dallas Mavericks in six games.
