On Wednesday, the New York Knicks hosted the Indiana Pacers in Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals at Madison Square Garden and are dealing with another injury.

In the entire second period of the Eastern Conference Semifinals’ the knicks were without Jalen Brunson, now they have lost fellow starter OG Anunoby.

The team announced, in the second half of Wednesday’s Game 2, that Anunoby had suffered a left hamstring injury and was ruled out for the remainder of the contest.

He missed the rest of the game after he left for the locker room in the final stages of the third quarter, and ended the game with a Knicks-best 28 points, all but six coming in the first half.

He had 28 points, four rebounds and three assists on 10-of-19 shooting from the field and 4-of-7 shooting from the field. He shot 10-of-19 from the field, including 4-of-7 from the perimeter.

The Knicks are already dealing with injuries all season, and are already without Mitchell Robinson and Bojan Bogdanovic. Now, as per updates, Anunoby status for the remainder of the playoffs is unclear.

As for Brunson in Game 2 was deemed questionable to return because of a sore right foot, he left late in the first quarter but ultimately returned to start the second half.

His injury was posed as a major concern for the Knicks, as he has been arguably the best player in the entire NBA playoffs. He had scored 40 or more points in the previous four games coming into Wednesday’s contest.
