After struggling to put points on the board last season, the New York Giants could use all the help they can get. The Giants ranked 31st in passing yard (169.8) and 29th in total yards (280) in the NFL in 2023. Only the New England Patriots and Carolina Panthers averaged fewer points per game.
Quarterback Daniel Jones is set to return for the upcoming season but the former first round pick will need some weapons to throw it. On Thursday, the Giants official website confirmed the signing of wide receiver Allen Robinson II to add some depth to their receiving corp.
A fresh start could be just what Robinson needs after a frustrating season with the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 6-2 receiver finished with just 280 receiving yards on 34 receptions and failed to record a touchdown.

Over a decade in the league, Robinson has racked up 7028 receiving yards 43 touchdowns and is averaging 12.5 yards per reception. He was named to the Pro Bowl on one occasion in 2025 after an impressive sophomore year with the Jaguars.
The Giants will be the fifth NFL team he represents after stints with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams and Pittsburgh Steelers.
Along with Robinson, the Giants drafted highly touted LSU wide receiver Malik Nabers with the No. 6 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. The organization also picked up former Wyoming receiver Ayir Asante as an undrafted free agent this offseason.
